Chapter Four: The Mirrorites
A lot of children (and a handful of adults who never grew up) believe that the North Pole is only a village full of Elves (although it is true that the population is predominantly elves), and Santa Claus is the only human resident of the magical place where the enchanted gifts come from. Albeit this is a myth that is widely believed by most souls, it is far from being accurate. In fact, in this world of speculative fiction, there are quite a few tricks and secrets that are untold primarily initiated for the safety of everyone else.
The village is, indeed, inhabited by many creatures, particularly of Elves as solemnly told in many occasions, from the tales and abundance of premises, but there are also magical dwellers here who are made entirely of an illusion who retain the attributes of the creatures, although not quite. It is true, and they simply exist. Call it ghosts, if you must. There is nothing more relevant to say to this exposition.
These inhabitants are an illusion of humanity, who possess the physical attributes of a human being, but who has no soul, only a substance of existence. They were derived from the Mirror on the Wall, a magical vessel plenty of imagination, and the never ending narration of stories, and fables, and everything caught in between.
Anyone who gazes at the mirror see an illusion of a person, and its ability to process stories lead it to assemble a human identity whose character follows a significant construct. It is the Mirror's desire to create a beautiful illusion, someone who must be able to embody everything that the Christmas Corporation holds in the precepts of its philosophical desires.
It is for this main reason that they are called the Mirrorites, those who are called to be the "top" servants of the Christmas Corporation, and who shall be "high in regard" but equal in stature with the Elves. They are citizens of the same village as co-equal and worthy of the same respect.
The Mirrorites serve as the spies of the Christmas Corporation to determine who are the naughty or nice in numerous nominated children across the world. Most of them are doing this solemn duty, while also some of them work alongside with the Elves in the village. Truly, it is the Mirrorites who keep everything in its proper mechanism.
