Chapter Seven: Santa's Very Personal Disguise

 Who is Santa Claus?

This is the question of children around the world as they seek to write and wish for a particular toy as a gift for Christmas Day. Although no one knows for certain, there are a lot of images available in the streets, in the malls, and in television advertisements that very well portray who he is, and what he is like.

Santa Claus has been heavily commercialized.

Not that this is inappropriate in our story. Santa himself had been working very hard for disguises. It has been the policy of the Christmas Corporation to keep his identity secret, and even his real physical attributes have been hidden for ages.

But not that a "fake" fat Santa Claus found in chocolate packaging is anything hideous.

No. It was not like that. Santa disguises himself in a magical way, and for extremely personal reasons. Beauty lies in the beholder, and this mantra heavily applies to the way Santa has been seen, as reported somewhere when he was accidentally seen in his magic sleigh. He is wearing an illusion all the time he is out and about, and the testimonies taken from these sightings are very surreal.

Santa Claus is a reflection of the individual's fantasies.

Truth be told, Santa's physical appearance depends on the beauty standards someone has in his head, so that the way he is seen is very personal to the person staring at him. He may be a debonair to some, or the boy-next-door to others. He can be extremely attractive, or exudes so much charm to some. In a few instances, he is very ugly, especially to the naughty children, and those who have become evil grownups.

In short, Santa Claus takes the form of an illusion, as much as he is well-versed in dreams and aspirations. Santa's magical powers are unique and true, and his complicated past experiences proves the veracity of this account. His past tells it all.
