Chapter Eleven: Behind every act of generosity, every good deed, is a story of hope, an experiential determination of efforts, of the past, and a never ending swiftness of the present and the future. It is an endeavor to be able to offer a glimpse of someone's heart, to offer one's self within the quest for a never ending love. It is not easy to articulate such thing, and it may be as confusing as this paragraph.

 Generosity is exactly like a thing. It takes many, many ways to manifest a virtue, even to the non-virtuous. It is a characteristic that trancends personal boundaries, mostly the ability to give wholeheartedly without reservations, and to help whatever it takes, always.

It may be that this virtue was chosen by Santa Claus to reveal who he really was. Maybe it is the bridge that will connect his past to his present. Or maybe the gifts are symbolically used for a higher purpose.

Something hidden from the eyes of the world.

There is uncertainty to this, and everybody knows it. Tales left unsaid are reeking with something fishy. But it is not to doubt Santa Claus and his intentions; of course, there is nothing like that. The fishy part is that something dubious is hidden that refuses to come out to the light.

The light. Yes, the light.

The light is needed within the village of the North Pole. Everyday, during daylight, and depending on the time of the year, the Elves deploy their solar drones to collect the light needed to power the whole village. Within this light, it is widely believed to be the bulding blocks of generosity, and so it is meticulously done.

Generosity is power.

Once it was considered to be a myth within the grapevine, but it is now an accepted truth, and that such power is in danger of being stolen. Many resolutions of the Christmas Corporation pertaining to the efforts in preserving this source of power attest to the veracity of these claims.

And so the Little Drummer Boys were created to do the exact thing: to guard the Generator Set, which ultimately yields the Generosity Shield to guard the village's security at all costs. And to keep all thieves away.

The Little Drummer Boys were given the power to wield their drumsticks where their artillery comes from. Some say that these drumsticks are enchanted, but no one knows where the chants were from. Others say it is embedded with miracles.

The drumsticks, whether enchanted or miraculous, must play its part in maintaining peace once the gifting season begins, where peril is most certain to immediately strike.
