Chapter Thirteen: The First Batch of Letters Have Arrived
The normal arrival of letters to Santa Claus has started, and the village is now in full swing collating the letters. While most letters were sent to the North Pole via Canada Post, there are a significant number of those arriving that were transported by other means from the Mirrorites deployed in the field, using a magical method known as Optical Scan. The miticulous sorting of the letters, wherever they came from, will then immediately proceed once the preliminary requirements have been satisfied, and busy days are way ahead for these loyal Elves.
Although all letters are welcome to enter the village, the Psychometrician Store implements a strict standard and security protocols to test these letters for the required metrics needed by the Christmas Corporation. Since the Unknown Enemy's pilfirage of the letters during the 1,213th Gifting Season, letters are now required to be opened without further delay.
To comply with this regulation, the Elves are now working extremely hard to deliver the sorted letters to the Psychometrician Store for proper disposition. There, the letters will spend quite some time, primarily to determine if the letter sender was naughty or nice.
But this Gifting Season will be different from all the rest. The time has come for the enemies to stealthily attempt to infiltrate the village without anyone knowing, presumably to poison the minds, and the generosity of those who work for the Mission of the North Pole. The poison of greed is about to enter; it will cost everyone their peace and sanity.
The first attempt to this evil plan is immediately being conducted, and it is through one of the letters submitted for this season. The letter in question contains a green powder that is potent enough to control the mind of an Elf, who will then serve as the spy in the operations of the Psychometrician Store.
Experimental and theoretical, this green powder was a result of the many research attempts to understand the genetic makeup of the Elves through the mutated genes of the Green Snokers. As experiments fulfill this promise, and the hypothesis is proven with strong and conclusive evidence, a master plan has been devised on how to hunt Santa Claus' intriguing past for good.
Yet, they needed the child. His vapor of death will make the Vampire Master go rogue, beserk, and extremely dangerous. By then, the Little Drummer Boys may offer some sort of resistence from the subsequent Vampiric attacks, but they cannot defend the village for that long.
