Chapter Twenty: The Magic of Christmas

 Neither the Elves nor the Mirrorites wouldn't be possible to exist without merely relying on the Magic of Christmas, that cohesiveness of the unknown force that binds together several pigments of imagination and the neurotransmitters that deliver brain activity in human physiology. Many believe that this magic is far from the magic involved in witchcraft, but a force that is waiting to be defined as Christmas celebrations evolved from tradition and custom.

But, it is a magic in itself. Some even believe that the Little Drummer Boys benefited from this magic. Magic is a fuel that accelerates the Christmas mission of the North Pole. Although the energy needed to power the factories and machineries of the North Pole (and especially the capital, The Village) involves the burning of the letters received from children around the globe in the Suburban Furnace, it is widely accepted that the Magic of Christmas also plays a crucial role in keeping things moving, and functioning.

What can be done in secret will remain so because of this magic, and dependence on this efficacy will likely continue in the future. Albeit its full potential was barely known, much faith has been given to this magic. There has been several correlations that have been identified in the magical experimentations, and the Christmas Corporation is firm to believe that they had barely scratched the surface. 

The mystery is yet to unfold.

Many attempted to define the extent of the Magic of Christmas, but a consensus on its scope has yet to be determined. Many Elves and Mirrorites alike have failed on this important task, but they all believe that the Magic of Christmas has something to do with an "unknown impetus."

This impetus is far different from natural occurence as it can be controlled on command, thereby disobeying the laws of nature and attaching itself to the extrasensory perception of that order. Its swift utility can be controlled at will, and a definition of magic may be attached to the phenomena it can produce, whilst purely unknown and unreported.

And while the Little Drummer Boys' ability is generally considered a product of the Magic of Christmas, the Christmas Corporation is still clueless as to the connection between the two. Some even propose that their weaponry evolved from vampiric curse, or any sort of miracle, or a combination of both, or evolved from the amalgamation of their several elements. Whatever it is, the curiosity will never cease.

So there it is. The Magic of Christmas. A mystery waiting to be uncovered. A feeling, or a state of being. The ultimate expression of generosity. A gratitude for life. And the acknowledgment of wanting a savior.
