Chapter Forty Two: A Crawling Enemy
The enemy was almost finished in contaminating the magic sleighs, and it is now crawling to its next destination while everyone was busy doing their day jobs at The Village, North Pole. The enemy was almost invisible to the naked eye; without extreme focus, it is impossible to locate its movement on the sacred ground.
This nemesis is not a simple antagonist, for it is rich with the distinct characteristics of what makes a villain evil, selfish, and greedy. It is in this invisible form that it carries away the substance that allows things to be a perilous concern, and one may wonder why it is strolling inside the North Pole grounds undetected and with amount of ease, only to find out that something peculiar, a strange species of monsters are present in its state, that eat away the greed that is being emitted by this gaseous matter.
Those who have read a book about the New World of America and its corresponding fate will be able to conclude that it is these monsters that are eating the greed away, enough for it to move freely within the space and time, undiscovered. And the New World of America's positioning in this time segment may be linked to the possibility of this fact being true.
But within reality or not, this gaseous matter will not be stopped easily, now that it has infiltrated the main defenses of the city of The Village.
No one had a clue as the enemy seeks to destroy the North Pole's main source of power, which will culminate in corrupting the Magic of Christmas. Now that the gifting season is fast approaching, the everyday tasks of the Dwarves and Mirrorites become more hectic for them to even bother about searching the sacred grounds to look for an unexpected, invisible enemy.
It is true that the enemy may be invisible, but it can easily be detected if the inhabitants knew of the real nature of the Gremlins. The Gremlins, of course, are generally mischievous, but the race that have been breeding from Williamshire are the good kind of Gremlins who hate anything that has an evil nature to it.
The Christmas Corporation must now contend with care on the current situation, if ever they soon discover the breach to the North Pole's security. It may be too late, and not only is Santa Claus' identity is at stake of being discovered, the North Pole is in great peril of being destroyed by the Sinister Agents.
The Gremlins may growl and growl and nobody will learn what it actually means for now.
