Meanwhile, it is business as usual at the Toy Factory, in the beautiful The Village, The North Pole.

The gifting season is in full swing as the Elves remain oblivious as to the carnage that will happen later on, and those working in the manufacture of plush toys are having final checking inspections as to the different animals that were requested from the letters of the "nice children."

Mostly, animals in the form of stuffed toys are specifically requested from the children themselves, but sometimes it is the Christmas Corporation who orders the creation of the gift. These types of gifts are within the upper echelons of the North Pole's Guide to Meaningful and Deserving Gifts, although boys can also make the same claim and effect when receiving a toy robot.

That being said, this department is so important that those employed therein are chosen with the best talents from a select pool of Elves taken from a special list so that those who work with the machines and assembly lines are considered to be possessing a certain Elven "impetus" necessary to make these plushie toys come to life.

To create life through these stuffed toys is a fatal Elven service where their own self is transferred to the toy, and make it come alive. Their manner of death by taking this solemn service may seem useless to their own existence, but never to become trivial. Because as much as this is considered a meaningful sacrifice, it is also known to be a great contribution to the magnificence of servitude for the meaningful effects of the Magic of Christmas.

Right now, the toy plush animals are coming out of the conveyor belts as Quality Assurance inspects everything to make sure the perfection of the merchandise before it is to be shipped out for the designated capping ceremony by the Elven Academy, and bring these cute plush toys alive.

Becoming a plush toy "nurse" to be assigned to a child as a ward is considered the greatest ambition that any Elf can aspire for, and this important task can never be underestimated. They all aspire that, one day, they will all receive an issuance of a Certificate of Role Number in order to serve with utmost responsibility.

To be an Elf of service to a meaningful Christmas is a heroic virtue in itself.

And Christmas will always come with a gifting season, no matter the peril or evil as described in this book.
