Chapter Eighty Four: On the Wall
As the Mirrorites soon learned from experience, the extent of duty that they owe to the Christmas Corporation is something more existential than it is an actual obligation. It is a solemn duty taken under oath, an involuntary bond that ultimately aids the Magic of Christmas, to reflect all the light coming from the glorious capital city of The Village, and then redirect it into the four corners of the world.
The Mirrorites are composed mainly of all the energy concentrated within their elemental composition. They were invented during the golden age of the Expanded Classical Mixtures to create a mechanism in which a being will be allowed to bear the energy and the momentum of the ultimate result of diffracted light, mainly sourced from the power of love as it travels in complete darkness; truly, it is the most glorious impetus that ever existed within the motion of this ever expanding universe.
From the Mirror on the Wall, these unique creatures emanated from the best conjuring effects of the Magic of Christmas. They came from the invisible ores that can be mined in a material soil of such metaphysical nature that will soon came to be as a definite field of gold. As much as these beings became a force for good on its own accord and purpose, the Mirrorites were expected to be the defenders of The North Pole (and the Christmas Corporation itself), by the natural embodiment of all the myths and legends that humanity would be able to understand from within its appointed abode and the extent of his imagination.
Solemnly on the wall, the Mirror must work in close coordination with the main objectives of the Christmas Corporation, under the framework for which it was originally founded: "May the strength from generosity be mirrored to the youngsters of good nature." This was the same motto adapted as the envisioned future for the newly created Mirrorites, to adequately assure that all matters of life and conscious creation that the new beings will fully become be a manifested asset of defense to the "Company of Elves and Little Drummer Boys," as was the full original incorporated name of the Christmas Corporation.
Later on, The North Pole will find itself to be at war with the invisible battle of the human world itself, and the original Mission Statement of the Company has significantly changed since then. The Magic of Christmas can no longer afford itself to simply contain its existence as a mere "gift-giving" institution for the sheer delight of nice children by receiving the gift of generosity. No longer can the yuletide operation be silent about the many trials and events (the unseen battle as the phrase will be coined later on) that it actually affects children negatively as competently determined by the Psychometrician Store.
The situation has gone serious, and immediate action must prevail. A defensive stance must be taken at once.
Today, the Mirrorites will be able to fully assume its most important role for the Christmas Corporation. They must now pledge formal allegiance for the defense of The Village, and create a link between their composite ionic element to a competent drumstick of the Little Drummer Boys, and provide the necessary power thereto. A partnership must be created between a compatible Mirrorite and a combative Little Drummer Boy. The Corporation calls this indocrination as the "union of sticks and shields."
As the signs of the times have started to reveal the warnings of an inevitable event, the Christmas Corporation must now be willing to meet the mask of defiance face-to-face, and shake up its arsenal and fully awaken and equip the slumbering warriors within. The Defiant Institution is set to reborn; the enemy has arrived.
