Chapter Eighty Seven: The Pairing Game
ADDENDUM
By Order of Management
How can the mystery of the Holy Trinity
be rejected in principle, if God is omnipresent? There is no reason to doubt.
Everywhere we look,
the presence of God is felt.
The dogma makes perfect sense in this case
and only confirms God's immense power.
The Sun is Shining Not Quite

In the presence of the Chief Storekeeper of the Psychometrician Store, Santa Claus has signed the memorandum circular, on behalf and "for the Christmas Corporation," that authorizes the responsible instrumentalities of the Company to act on the initial process of the Pairing Game, for the ceremony to immediately commence without any further delay.
In the parlance of the North Pole, the Pairing Game is likened to "a call to arms," a similar notice to summon to active duty the entire Corps of the military reservists of a particular country, mostly the practice of the armed forces in many countries situated in this common enclosure we refer to as planet Earth.
Without a doubt, The North Pole is readying itself for a full potential of war. Despite being expected, this is a war that the Christmas Corporation wanted to avoid altogether, but which it cannot simply disregard on account of the sanctity and value of life. Christmas is supposed to be the advent of all the most desirable things and the preparation for events to come, inclusive of all the divine blessings that can never be corrupted by the power of evil anymore. It is a solemn duty of the patrimony of the Corporation to protect, and to prepare the common resolve of humanity, as well as its indomitable resolve, its materials, and then consciously afterwards, to fully embrace all the things that must happen next.
But for the past three days, Santa Claus and Father Christmas have been seeking wisdom from most of the available documents ever written, while also carefully reading into the literature of prominent history and the non-fiction books, especially those discussing the most successful wars that has ever been waged against humanity to humanity, as well as the essays on the unbiased analysis of power, and every weaknesses identified that effectively weakens its very foundation.
Within the eloquent language contained in the provisions of the Corporate Charter, the Pairing Game is a recognition of the allegorical role of its founders, with the Little Drummer Boys representing Santa Claus, and the Mirrorites representing the reflection of Father Christmas. By the efficacious use of this system, one part of the pairing simply cannot fight without the other; this fundamental principle is simply the primary basis for the belief of the Corporation's role in the fragility of life, love, and the intense contradiction that dwells in the duality of man.
To further enlighten the semantics of the writing about this focal point in context of The North Pole's mission, generosity represents the tangible value of creation while love is the invisible quality that is reflected from someone else. Each individual is a mirror that defines the virtues and behavior that each one intrinsically possess, recognizable in the peeking mirror as it is reflected back to the beholder.
"Could this memorandum be an unfortunate source of superfluous alarm, sir? The Elves are still busy in the preparation for the Yuletide celebration this year. We may be instigating an unwanted emotion of fear by issuing this, and may be enough grounds for The North Pole to perform in dysfunction as a result of its increments," the Chief Storekeeper said. He was standing in front of the massive desk of Santa Claus.
Santa Claus acknowledged this unsolicited comment to be a valid concern, nodded wanly, and then handed the signed memorandum to the Chief Storekeeper. There was an undeniable trace of fear in his face no matter how hard he tried to conceal his emotion from the truth of this awkward exchange.
"I have no choice, Romulus," Santa Claus replied. "Despite best efforts to look on the brighter side of things, and after I have sought counsel from the Mirror on the Wall with careful consideration, Father Christmas shared the same view as I have. The inevitable Pairing Game must proceed at once, while we are also heeding some sort of caution by continuing with the arrangements of the Christmas operation during this gift-giving cycle. It may be too risky but it must be done."
"Just some sort of caution?" the Chief Stotekeeper responded with surprise. "This seems very unorthodox to my understanding, with all due respect, sir. There is absolute danger at this point if the signs are to be properly construed."
Santa Claus was in deep thought; considering.
"Truly, this phrase has no room for the Christmas Corporation for the most of us to formally articulate. But we must act prospectively from any credible threat with the most prudent swiftness, and there has a need to be assured with an ironclad support when such response was fully needed in the future."
