Chapter Seventy Five: Carols and Anguish
Have you noticed a difference lately? Between the singing of Carols and the screaming of Anguish? What is there to investigate, when both allows the release of substances that are too soothing for the soul or the intimate cry for justice? Does love simply select the impetus of the universe, only to be bothered by the pleasant things whilst ignoring those deemed to be unpleasant, unfavorable, or those that eventually produce watery tears in the eyes?
There has been many theories involved with regards to the negative forces that also stimulate the essence of love in order to motivate the movement of things. These ideas deal with the synonymous concept of passion, which is particularly concerned with the motivations resulting to sorrow, complete struggles, or extreme difficulties.
It is universally held as the involuntary truth that the notion of passion itself denotes both positive and negative effects, and, that, while love can never be tainted by simple anomalies as the same composition of the perfect substance of God, passion, can, nonetheless, substantially affect by negative forces of nature.
The Puritans (those who believe that love is incorruptible, and that it cannot be tainted by impurities, such as the deceit of the Devil) simply believes that love and passion can, in fact, be equated as the "same substance," however, passion is a weaker manifestation of the absolute love that comes from the infinite source that travels through divine grace. This weaker form of love is the one attributed to the possibility of the main access door to be tainted by corruption, as made by human interaction. It is this dynamics of the good and the bad that keeps all created things in complete harmony with the Cosmos.
However, the Passiontides (those who believe that love and passion are both pure, and one individual manifestation of the same thing) argue that the Devil's attraction to the salvation of the many souls from the certainty of death is the result of the passion poured out to the human race, and that evil clings to the flesh, and not to the passion itself, truly present in the divine channel as becoming the true Temple of the Spirit. They further hold that since the flesh is the one corrupted and there will never be access to the passion contained by the physical body, no further evil can be associated with such passion to contaminate it, nothing but that of the sins of the flesh.
It is in this second school of thought that more information were gathered to either refute the basis of the founder of this concept or to prove its own literature as the most firm elucidation of the truth. While many premises support the validity of this particular thought, there are still many loopholes that needed the search for a more direct explanation.
And this direct attempt to provide more evidence to test the nature of the Passion theory had presented several many complications when related to the concept of hypostasis, and, if ever, it was necessary to propose a grant of exception to the general theory as it was being formulated.
It is possible to love with tears. Love endures all things. Love conquers all. But to taint the most pure?
Satan's case regarding the pursuit of these two conflicting hypotheses will eventually lead to confusion, like carols and anguish happening all at the same time.
